Underhive Update!

I have some updates for you all in the form of Progress images and news on what is coming next. After finishing the Iron Man and his big man Hulk Buster suit, along with the progress of Ahriman commission pieces. The Greyseer has been taking up a lot of headspace with the next steps in the process this week. That means next week's tutorial will be back in the underhive with the matt background painting and some colour tinting on the actual model I've illustrated in Photoshop. From these edits, I've decided to flex the direction of helping the highlight and shadow separations with a complimentary tint to help further contrast the light and bring the painting a bit more harmony. Of course, I will have a much more deep dive talk about the decisions and execution in the next video to kick off the first week of October!
That's all for now. It's back to the painting bench to make my ideas of the Greyseer come alive, and always with a few surprises along the way which I can't share just yet! I'll also leave you with the finished pictures of Iron Man & a WIP of Ahirman before his finale.

2024-09-25 05:35:57 +0000 UTCThanks mate! Ye after painting Ahirman and working with a few methods on the blue, it would be cool to take a more refined approach and get that under the camera. For other cloaks, I have 2 more recent videos from the green deathwing cape in green, and Hibu Khan golden yellow cloak :)
