Hey everyone! We're back! It's been a while in the tutorial space, but you all know we've still been working behind the scenes. That said, it feels good to bring something back to the public—well, not just yet. As we're not beholden to a schedule anymore, we can give this to you all in advance. Everyone else gets this Monday. All of you get it today!
This is a short one, but the idea behind it is useful. And so is the little trick about how to quickly set a range for a text animator. In this After Effects tutorial, we show you a way to quickly lay out stacked text like you'd often use for price points. Traditionally the methods used for this aren't super easy to modify without killing the whole layout. This method allows you to make changes much easier, and it's a lot simpler to build and maintain.
Enjoy! Thank you all for being our patrons, and we hope to bring you another as soon as we can!
Note: There isn't a project file for this since it's so short and highly dependent upon what you need to show, but I've attached the setup we built for the thumbnail.
