so if you know the car, shhhhhh, don't spill the beans. I'm slowly working away at turning multiple 3D scans, with permission of the manufacturer, into a full 3D model. So it'll be the first official real car to be on the mod repository!
I'm excited, but not sure how I'm going to title the video, maybe "The first Manufacturer Approved Mod for BeamNG"? If you have suggestions, plop them down in the comments section please :)
It's been about 2 days so far in total (many things got in the way). I'm guessing the modelling will take a full week or 2. This includes modelling all suspension, seats, dials etc. Then I'll be moving onto jbeam, and I'm going to guess it'll take about a week. (if everything went well, it'd be 2 days, but lol that never happens)
Once the video is out, I'll spend the usual time with bug-fixing the car, then it'll be back to tyres. Still going to do a few "use case" videos for fun, then the first one back will be making a radial vs crossply variation of the mod. Followed by a mod developer specific version for a video.
The mod developer version won't have any of the tuning menu stuff, and it'll have to be implemented per tyre, in jbeam. But if they pay for it, they can then distribute it as they see fit, as many times as they want. I'll also have to upload it in versions, with modules, that way I can update it as needed, and they won't have to start all over again.
