Two Year Annifursary

Hello friends!

We’ve been thinking about what to release for the two year anniversary pin, and what better way to celebrate than to include some of you?

Fursona Pins began as a concept on Feb 2, 2018 with the first five designs—Byte, Treble, Omnom, Splat, and Telephone pin art released on Twitter in an interest post asking “Would you want a pin of your Fursona?” Since then, it’s grown tremendously, putting us at over five hundred pins designed.

This pin design is something a little special. It’s going to be 5 inches to afford as much detail as possible. At the bottom are Kiwi and Jax, the fursonas of Kiwiggle and Cy, creators of Fursona Pins. Would you like to celebrate with us?

HOW THE AUCTION WORKS

There are 13 YCH spots available for auction and they each start at $50.00. In the comments, we will make a comment thread for each of the auction slots. Respond to the comment thread (respond directly to the previous bid) to bid on one of the slots. Any species and gender is accepted for each slot; your sona doesn’t have to match the concept sketch. You can bid on more than one slot if you wish.

The auction will go until January 19. At this point, a bid must sit for 24 hours to be locked in as winner and prevent sniping. On January 20, if all bids have been finalized, the winners will be contacted for their payment and reference, their characters will be sketched into the YCH, and the concept art will go to Kiwi to finalize into our style and finish!

At that point, if everyone likes how their character turned out, we’ll start producing these mammoth sized pins and celebrate the second annifursary of Fursona Pins!

WHAT WINNERS GET

Winners will be drawn into the YCH slot they have won. They will also receive two copies of the annifursary pin for their own collection.

ABOUT THE ANNIFURSARY PIN

This pin is expected to release in late March or early April of 2020 after we’ve had time to finalize the artwork and get it produced. Due to the size and complexity of the pin, it will be $50.00. You’ll be able to bring home a piece of Fursona Pins history with this!
