Hey guys, since we will be diving deeper into the plot in the upcoming chapters, we haven't spoken much about Shoto's siblings. Here are a few facts that will be valuable to understanding Itami's character.

1. He's very overprotective of his siblings. As seen by all the scars he has on his body, most of them were obtained because he protected his siblings during fights, raids, or altercations. Even though he denies it, he is the most protective and defensive sibling. His actions speak louder than his words.

2. Apart from his girlfriend, he hasn't found any other woman appealing in his company since he began dating her. Despite the temptations of his lifestyle, he has great self-control and has never considered leaving his relationship.

3. Itami has always been much taller and heavier than his brothers, including his twin, Hebi. This was just another way they were used to being distinguished. However, he has always utilized this to his advantage.

4.  Itami has the best work-life balance of any of his siblings. His first priority is to create a family as soon as possible. For this reason, he prioritizes his relationship. His job schedule revolves around his life rather than the other way around. Unfortunately, if his division is in an emergency, he will make an exception. However, this is rarely the case.

5. Itami and Hebi are twins, but Itami was born with poliosis, which caused him to lose pigment in his hair and eyebrows. Surprisingly, Hebi did not inherit his brother's disease. As a child, he struggled to blend in with his siblings due to this issue, and as a result, he would urge his parents to dye his hair or eyebrows. However, Hiro and Sakura consistently disagreed with the idea and instead encouraged him to accept his differences.

6. Itami always cried whenever he was forced to fight Hebi, and their battles were often the most excruciating for him. After turning 16, he finally refused to fight his siblings and settled for the rank of lieutenant. Hiro honored his choice and shifted his concentration to torture and interrogation.

7. Itami and his girlfriend met in high school, but he did not pursue her since he was a delinquent and wanted her to concentrate on her schoolwork. After he left a juvenile jail institution, she sought him again, but he ignored her so she could focus on her college studies. A few years later, they reconnected by chance after she got intoxicated in a nightclub and her colleagues abandoned her, and he hasn't left her side since.

8. He wants his first child to be a girl, and he plans to name her Sakura. However, he would be pleased as well if he got a boy. He also wants a large family and will not allow his children to join the syndicate, even if they want to.

9. Itami opposes Eiko's involvement in the syndicate, but he is nevertheless proud of her for overcoming the obstacles. However, regardless of her strength, he will always be overprotective of her. He never left her side, especially after Sakura's death.

After Sakura's death, Itami developed chronic depression, and it took him two years to recover from the funk he was in, the same funk that led him to go in and out of juvenile institutions due to his violent behavior. After her death, he finally quit school and joined the gang full-time. He would want to retire someday. Ideally, after he has his own family.

11. Sakura was the only dead body Itami could not look at. For several reasons, he wore blindfolds at her burial and only removed them two weeks later.

13. The majority of disagreements he has within his relationships (family and romantic partner) involve their safety. He is incredibly devoted to his family.

14. His lover is the only woman he allows to touch his body. She tends to all of his wounds and injuries. He exploits the fact that she is a nurse to a considerable extent.
