I also have that Karasuno High School T-shirt, love the dedication to prepare :))) Honestly I never thought I would love both shows that became TOP 2, when I usually only watch shows with blood shed lol. And I read both of the series around the same time, only 2-3 years ago, it's surprising that both are considered old series but they're still relevant until today. P.S. I thought Serbia was quite strong in volleyball! The last VNL tournament for men's team was not bad.

Everything from the characters and story to the soundtrack and art style gives off very wholesome vibes, and the series has an almost "healing" energy to it.

There’s actually a really popular subset of Haikyuu reactions where volleyball players (professional, couches, college, high school etc) watch this show and almost every single one of them has commented on the realism of this show. It actually exists outside of Japan as well and apparently it has a very distinct smell, reason why Hinata recognized it instantly 😊

It is more focused around the students' lives and their interactions as high school students so it's different from Haikyu...the tone is a little bit darker, it's more realistic and there are much more valuable lessons in it. The main character is still short and you would love him

But, I’m kind of glad that we/they Re getting a break from dark stories and going for more light hearted stories.
