I don't know how/if his Skycool (http://www.skycool.com.au/uts.htm - very old crappy page - student-created I think) is related to the American company of the same name at all. I emailed the US Skycool people some years ago asking about the nanotech aspects of their coatings, and they replied, but they did none of the sexy two-photon excitation fluorescence Geoff talked about.

This is your guy, if you can get a follow-up: https://profiles.uts.edu.au/Geoff.Smith I got really interested in a presentation he did circa 2014 about exactly what you're working on. I've been thinking about it for years and I'm really glad you're looking into it - I've been dreaming of Skycool shadecloths strung above streets letting cool air filter down (I'm living/working in the tropics at the moment!). He had his Skycool coatings in dark brown and green in visible light - they didn't even have to look white! And his nano particles even worked in optically-transparent glass. It was just such a great idea/technology I've been telling people about it ever since.
