Commercial License

This commercial license is available to all of my active CR 8 patrons only. It is expected that you remain a patron at this level for as long as you continue to sell any licensed material.

Exceptions:

Streaming and Paid GMing

You are welcome to use any of my maps or tokens that you own on streaming platforms, online videos, or in any “GM for hire” paid games without being a CR 8 patron.

Roll20 Marketplace Purchases

Items purchased from the Roll20 Marketplace are allowed for use on streaming platforms, online videos, or paid game sessions. They are not to be used in any other published materials.

In either of these cases, please continue to adhere to standard attribution practices as outlined below by providing a written credit and a link to my Patreon in the video description.

Attribution:

To use my maps in your adventures, supplements, modules, or other published materials, you must use a watermark. If you would like to use one of my maps without a watermark in your publication, or want to commission me to create custom maps or assets, please reach out to me personally as this is not covered under the commercial license.

My watermark is available in the post attachment and should be placed in the bottom right of any map used for publication at a size no less than 1/5th of the map’s width.

For any adventures, supplements, modules or other published materials, please include a written credit for me as an artist, as well as a link to my Patreon.

Restrictions:

This license does not allow for the redistribution or resale of any of my content as a stand-alone product. The license is intended to provide writers and other content creators an opportunity to use my maps and assets in their publications, and not to provide resale rights.

Any images used under this license cannot be altered, with the exception of 1) placing the required watermark on any map or 2) desaturating any images to be used in black/white publications.

My images are not to be used as part of a logo, nor can they be used in any context that implies my endorsement of a particular product. My watermark may not be used for any other purpose and may not be placed on any image other than my own original maps licensed for commercial use.

My images are not to be used in the minting of NFTs or training of AI, nor can they be used in any product that also uses NFTs or AI Generated Content.*

This license specifically encompasses paid releases. Oftentimes free content is released as part of collaborative projects with other creators and may include their intellectual property, or is considered fan content that is unsuitable for commercial use due to the inclusion of materials not covered under the Open Gaming License (OGL). You can tell if a post is released as paid content because it will say “Paid for by Patrons” in the top right of the header.

I reserve the right to revoke the use of my work in any product if I feel it misrepresents my brand or promotes any content generally deemed offensive or unethical. My work is not to be used in any material that endorses racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia, whether explicitly or implicitly.

*AI  Generated Content includes any content that uses programs like MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly or  ChatGPT to generate entire images or text. These methods of content creation rely on data sourcing that is inherently non-consensual and commercial use of these models is not in-line with my values.

Notification:

If you plan to use my work commercially under this license, please reach out to me with a digital copy of any materials prior to publication. This will allow me to make sure that the work falls under the conditions of the license, and will also give me the opportunity to promote it if I choose to do so.

You do not need my approval to use my work in streams or for paid GM games, but I’d still appreciate it if you let me know. I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing my work adding value to peoples’ games.
