Hey folks,
I wanted to provide an expansion to the recent Astral Express adventure. I figured that rather than providing new train cars to extend the adventure, I would instead create a series of background maps that could be used in this adventure as well as others. Each map is 34x22, and sized to fit two standard train cars from the adventure. As the Astral Express blasts through numerous planes in the multiverse, it seemed a great opportunity to make some unique maps that could also be useful as backgrounds for airships or other magical vessels. For extra versatility, I have included a floating island with a portal styled to match each plane. CR 5 patrons will also have access to three new magical tracks that can be placed as tokens underneath the train cars in the Astral Express adventure.
I've included with this release a sample with my two maps from "All Aboard the Astral Express" as well as an image with my previous "Elven Voidship" token set as an overlay.
If you haven't checked out "All Aboard the Astral Express," it's a holiday-themed mega collaboration released by the Tabletop Creators Guild. I had the opportunity to contribute to the project by painting the cover art, 4 magic item illustrations, 16 tokens, and 2 maps. This 5e adventure is FREE and can be downloaded here.
