2021 patreon plans (extra ggar comic whaa-?!)

How are you all doing? Holding on? Letting go? Whatever happens, I wish you the best in your journey, and I wish you plenty of the Little Things that bring you warmth and smiles. You deserve it!
Today I want to let you know that after Go Get a Roomie ends (*insert tiny scream*) there will be changes made to the content that this Patreon will provide.
Namely, an extra GGaR comic :D
That's right, starting February 2021, I'll be posting a little spicy not-exactly-safe-for-work (NESFW if you will) GGaR comic that will update every week for about two months or so! That way, we can have fun seeing Roomie and company a little more before saying goodbye and giving space to another queer adventure! Another reason for it, to be completely transparent with you all, is that it gives you (and new folks who might be interested) a better reason to stick around, even though I know some of you were already planning on doing so without the extra bits :) and I thank you for it!!
A question I still need to find an answer to is whether to publish this GGaR short publicly or for Patrons only. I don't really want to keep it away from anyone, so I'd rather post it on Patreon and give readers the choice of putting in a donation or not. To be confirmed!
After this GGaR "NESFW" short, there will be another sort of content posted on patreon, for Patrons only, and it might possibly maybe absolutely have to do with the next webcomic I'm working on :D
I'm very excited for this new story, and the plan is to start it here, exclusively to Patrons this time, update it regularly every week for a few months, and then launch it on its own website for everyone else to enjoy! That way, I'll have a nice buffer (pages drawn in advance), and Patrons get a taste of it LIVE! You'll be the first to see and comment on this brand new journey and I'm super excited for it!

sounds great on all fronts. Even though I am now richly employed enough to donate some, I most needed to find your work when I was a poor student, and was very happy for it to be free then. So now very happy to give back and for the new poor students of this world to find it for free. Of course they can wait a few months though :D

You can even get devious and make a few teaser strips public and then tell the non-paying readers that they can either join the patreon or wait for an X amount of time until they can read it for free. Just do what feels right for you. I'm pretty sure there are many patrons like me who are here to support you and not to demand extra or exclusive material.

2020-12-13 02:14:27 +0000 UTCheyyy those are nice plans! i'm of the unpopular opinion that even the best stories have to end, and i'm fine with GGaR being over, and excited about your new story... but sure, i'll take an encore ^^ As i've said before i'm not expecting anything in exchange for my backing but if the plan is to create an incentive for people to stay on patreon, i don't get how making those posts public would do that?? then again, that's a decision i'd support, i'm all for art being available to all, with donating to creators being viewed as a social responsibility for all of us with the means. But ultimately, it's your livelihood, so you know best =)
