I have my folder setup exactly as described. I followed this video exactly, even with a skin i named pyro and typed exactly what was shown on screen. In game no new textures show up under any dragon. Only default. Was this changed again in the July update?

You have do keep feeding the dragon you hatched if you didn't hatch your dragon yet I would suggest that.

you have to find a dragon egg then you have to have an incubator then hatch the egg and feed it and take care of it until it is tamed

If you have a sprite, then you need to add that or it won't work. Also, you need to set natural to false. That's how I do it, and it works perfect. If it still doesn't work, maybe your computer cant handle all the input. Also, if you don't have a child texture, you cant put that into code or you will confuse the computer.

yo! i've had some issues with adding textures with the pteryx as i've done step by step whats shown in the video and the custom textures don't show up. was it possible the program i used to edit them does work with the textures for some reason (paint tool sai) or did i actually do something wrong when writing the code ( i did it in the program used in vid) here the copied code from one of them maybe someone can tell me if its actually the code "dragon": "Pteryx", "textures": [ { "name": "cyan", "adult": "Pteryx/cyan/cyan", "child": "Pteryx/cyan/cyan", "adult_sprite": "path_to_adult_sprite", "child_sprite": "path_to_child_sprite", "rarity": "common/rare/epic/legendary, default: common", "natural": true } ] }

The grass and blocks change is due to a resource pack, this resource pack is not included in the mod but you can download it on your own if you want. Minecraft Java edition works on all PC's to my knowledge. It shouldn't crash so long as mods are installed properly. That said I would recommend having at least 5 gigs ram memory allotted to minecraft 10 gigs would probably be best. You would also need to check and see how much ram memory your laptop has, if you haven't upgraded the memory yet you probably only have a 4 gig ram chip and would need to up grade to a higher gig chip I would say a 16 gig chip should do it and allow 10 gigs to be allotted to minecraft without interfering with other operations of the computer

Does anyone know if it works on windows ten like a surface pro 6 and will it crash my laptop or do anything to it my mom doesn't want to buy it for me please help I have the money to buy it but she says can't unless I know this information!

Ok so I get how to do it and how it works....... there is no skins for any of the dragons to even attempt to re-texture any of the dragons or at least none I have found. It would be much easier and better for the player base for different color textures for the dragons to already be in the mod, we do pay a monthly fee for this mod after all. I think it was March or April's update where there was different nadder textures available but none for any other dragon, those textures were in the .minecraft folder and can be used to re-texture but there isn't a texture for any other dragon to be able to edit to change colors, I would recommend having at least 2 maybe 3 textures for each dragon already done this way it would also show us where to make changes to color one how we want.
