JTKIWI is this week’s beta core. It is compatible with the game Insector X. Find files attached for all systems. MiSTer users can also use update_all. Pocket users are reminded to generate the .rom files following this tutorial or this video.

Two Patreon directors had requested Extermination and Insector X. We started working on the Extermination PCB, donated by Conrad Fenech and Matthew Azzopardi. The schematics were done during the summer. Then Director Skutis started working on the schematics for two related games The New Zealand Story and Insector X. Things got quiet during October but in November, we started working on the core.

The graphic chips are very interesting, but we will talk about them as we introduce more games on this hardware. What made me struggle this time was the tight coupling between the game and sound CPUs. They share a memory module and they seem to access it with no mercy. Apparently a race condition (when two devices lock each other out) was happening until I managed to get all timings correct. After that, things went smoothly.

The audio output on the Pocket Dock is fixed and all games can be heard now. We also add the files for Super Pang and Dokaben, in the JTPANG core. So that, together with Insector X, makes three new Pocket games for this week. The files are in the attached zip and also in JTBIN.

Se ve que estaba ocurriendo una condición de carrera (cuando dos dispositivos se bloquean entre sí) hasta que logré encajar bien todos los tiempos. Después de eso, las cosas fueron bien.

La salida de audio en Pocket Dock ya funciona y se pueden escuchar todos los juegos. También agregamos los archivos para Super Pang y Dokaben, en el cor JTPANG. Así que, junto con Insector X, son tres nuevos juegos de Pocket esta semana. Los archivos están en el zip adjunto y también en JTBIN.

JTKIWIは今週のベータ版コアです。ゲーム「インセクター X」に対応しています。すべてのシステムに対して添付されたファイルを検索してください。MiSTerユーザーはupdate_allを使用することもできます。Pocketのユーザーは、このチュートリアルまたはこのビデオに従って.romファイルを生成することをお勧めします。

Conrad FenechとMatthew Azzopardiから寄贈されたExtermination PCBの製作に取り掛かりました。回路図は夏の間に完成させました。その後、ディレクターのSkutisが、関連する2つのゲームニュージーランドストーリーとインセクター Xの回路図に取りかかり、10月には一時中断しましたが、11月にはコアの作業に取りかかり始めました。

グラフィックチップはとても興味深いのですが、その話はこのハードでゲームを紹介するときにします。今回苦労したのは、ゲーム用CPUとサウンド用CPUとの結合が非常に固かったことです。ともにメモリモジュールを共有しているのですが、容赦なくアクセスするようです。どうやらレースコンディション（競合状態、2つのデバイスが互いにロックアウトすること）が起きていたようで、なんとか全てのタイミングを合わせることができました。その後、物事はスムーズに進みました。

ポケットドックのオーディオ出力が修正され、すべてのゲームの音声が聞こえるようになりました。また、JTPANGのコアに、スーパーパンとドカベンのファイルを追加しています。これで、インセクターXと合わせて、今週は3つの新しいポケットゲームができました。ファイルは、添付のzipファイルとJTBINにあります。
