Paladin Apple Jack Design- COMPLETE! (well... mostly!!)

hi patrons! here is the next installment of my MLP D&D Design project: Paladin Apple Jack ⚔️

This time I also wanted to do more of an atmospheric painting along with the character design sheet and portrait to push my painting skills and put this character into an environment. I included the wip here (unfortunately I don't think I will be able to finish it for the video but you guys will get to see it as soon as I finish it <3)

I also haven't fully finished the portrait painting yet but she's getting there! I'll be polishing it off as Steven edits the video.

And speaking of environments, I would love to re-design Sweet Apple Acres in a more semi-realistic fantasy version to fit this world. I have barely stepped into the world of environmental design so this would definitely be a challenge for me but I want to try my hand at it. Here was a quick warmup painting sketch that hints at what I was thinking (very simple, but you get the idea !)

ALSO! I don't have background lore established just yet! A ton of different and concepts were and have been floating around in my head as I developed her. My main motivation for her as of now is that strange activity from the Everfree forest (that eventually brings Twilight to town to meet everyone and form the adventuring party) is encroaching on the Apple's Farm, destroying and poisoning crops, and affecting the strength of the spirits that are the heart of the farm. Apple Jack takes it upon herself to scout the issue out and save the farm, whatever it takes.

Let me know what you think on how she turned out! AND IT IS OFFICIAL: THE NEXT PONY REDESIGN WILL BE RARITY!!

I have some super fun ideas for her and can't wait to start developing her design!
