Plans for this week

The last 2 videos have been doing extremely well (especially the final boss video). Well enough to boost my channel from 30-50 subs a day to anywhere between 200-700. While I don't expect this spike to last (it would be amazing if it did), it's still been a fantastic experience knowing I could achieve such a thing. It's all thanks to you guys.

With that being said, originals with a video game style have always been one of my main styles, but I never got to show it off much until these two videos. Since my inspiration is there, I figured I would continue with either "How To: Make an Underwater Theme" or "How To: Make a Desert Theme". I have a few ideas in my head for both, but I'll decide which fits better once I'm done. Hope you all look forward to it!

Thanks Shady! Really appreciate you sharing this details, keep up the good work man!

Hey man! I'm happy you liked them enough to try and recreate them haha. I'm using Pod Farm, but hopefully some of these effects/sims are available on your program. The cleans don't have too much going on. It has a sine chorus effect on it. Mix is at about 45%. Depth is around 70%. For the amp sim, I used one called "jazz clean". Bass is at 45%, Mids at 70%, treble at 55%, and presence at 45%. On top of that, there's a little EQ'ing going on. I don't think this one is too necessary, but you can always raise the low end a little bit if your tone feels kind of empty. The Delay is pretty much almost raw. I remove reverb and chorus. The delay is set to whatever BPM the song is. Picking straight notes to the BPM beat should create the cool effect. If not, pick it in double time. Delays were mostly on the bridge pickup while rhythms and leads were on the neck. I apologize if the explanation wasn't too great. I'm not too knowledgeable on tones n such myself. Just a lot of fiddling around and getting feedback here and there. If you have more questions, feel free to ask :)

Yo Shady! I wanna ask how did you make that clean tones as well as the delayed leads you used on your latest vid "How To: Make an Underwater Theme" Im using a zoom g3xn multi effects and I wanna replicate the tones you used on that vid. Appreciate it if you can give me some tips on that. Thanks!!!

Dude both sound awesome but I think I’d love an underwater theme first. As much as I can picture that energetic middle eastern vibe, you can make some hella sexy clean tones, and I’d love to hear more of them in a water theme
