Think back to the tragic or dark moments of the Hunter Exam versus the brutal tragedies of the Chimera Ant arc. With Pokkle and Ponzu’s fate, how does it feel to see tragedy come full circle with characters we first met back then, and does their death show that the Chimera Ant arc is the darkest point the series has reached so far?

2025-10-01 06:02:17 +0000 UTCThere's one minor motive which goes throughout Hunter x Hunter: Gon's father abandoned him; Killua's father raised and trained him as the assasin; Gyro's father abused him to the point of almost breaking his will - and all of three sons idolized their fathers and also didn't acknowledged their mothers. I find this representation of fatherhood's influence of HxH characters quite fascinating. What do you think about it?
