fun fact u can play cyberpunk and absolutely murder adam smasher . the first line he says to u is "you look like a f+ckable piece of meat" in game, when he said that i looked at him and pulled out my gun and backed away.

He’s absolutely right that the more expensive cyberware is often less obtrusive, more streamlined and designed with normal human physiology in mind. There are often “tech lines” or rare metals used as highlights for ornamentation. But clearly David prefers a more natural aesthetic, with what he’s making he could be totally blinged out in solid gold nano-weave realskin.

2024-11-10 02:02:46 +0000 UTCThe Maelstrom giant with the hammer has a Kereznikov implant, not a Sandevistan, they’re similar, but have a few key differences. Kereznikovs are reflex boosters that are essentially always active, but have a much less acute effect. So it’s super-perception and not super-speed. That Maelstrom chrome junkie though was probably loaded with enough muscle enhancers and micro rotors that his body can keep up with his enhanced senses.

2024-11-10 01:29:47 +0000 UTCAh you might be right. So my years were a bit off bit timeline is fine. 2020s up until 23 with the nuke he wasn't fully borged, but was an adult at least in his 20s, so by 2077 he's at least 77 probably 5-15ish years older.

Also as probably others have mentioned, make sure you check out the music video for the end credits song "Let You Down" as it sort of serves as a mini prequel episode in itself...and is amazing! They also did one for "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" (the song you liked from the moon BD). Definitely save that one until after you finish the show though as it's a montage and will have spoilers. Maybe you two can do a reaction to both of them as well as an 11th video?

For example, the kereznikov of the 2040's was constantly active, which made a big blow to your mental health as you had to learn to live while constantly in perceived slow motion.

2024-11-06 19:00:11 +0000 UTCSome info on Adam Smasher that's not explained in the show; when it comes to the reason for their respective tolerances to cyberware, David and Adam are essentially polar opposites. In terms of the original tabletop RPG, David's high tolerance is because his "Humanity stat" is so high. The lower your Humanity stat drops, the closer you get to becoming a cyberpsycho. Adam Smasher on the other hand had little to no humanity to begin with before he became a full borg, the guy was always unhinged. Adam is basically a high functioning cyberpsycho.

Also, why Becca mentioned it afterwards! He was basically in his boosted Sandy mode the whole time then just combo'd.
