News Post#1: First month of Small Trolls and Patreon!

This has been an interesting month! And a little bit rough at the same time. Mostly rough...

As some of you might be aware, Karo has been busy doing a full-time job for the past two months to gather up some very needed extra money. Therefore a lot of our production has been jammed up and we've not had all the time and resources to do anything time consuming yet. She has managed to keep up with YIH's regular updates however, which has been great! 

And on the other end, Elli has quite recently been having her own trouble with technology. Her computer pretty much blew up on her and we've been unable to work on new Small Trolls pages for a while, but we've still got enough buffer to get through this mishap. She's still working through the bugs and trouble that her computer is giving her and unfortunately it might seem like she has to look into replacing her computer. Gladly, inktober was right behind the corner to give her something to do, and we've started making our traditional art rewards for you guys!

After all of these unfortunate mishaps have been dealt with, we should be able to start managing our Patreon  more effectively and start focusing on the things we want to bring out, mainly these things:

• We want to make our own Youtube channel. We're interested in making various  process breakdowns and even more scripted in-depth tutorials, and we're going to make sure they'll be as entertaining and as good of quality as we possibly can make them. We've been recording quite a bit of footage. Unfortunately our hardware and software licenses keep us from recording and making 1080p HD videos, but we all need to start somewhere! 
• We want to start planning those physical rewards! We'd like to manufacture keychain-accessories, stickers, and small prints. These of  course take their time. Finding the perfect manifacturer and getting familiar with the process of designing is new... But very exciting!
• If for any reason we can't get the printers sorted out by mid October, Elli's going to send out one of the Inktober drawings as a reward to everyone who pledged last month! So make sure you've provided us with your address. She'll give you a prod if for any reason this hasn't registered on our side!
  
• We're starting to work on those custom traditional art rewards, on watercolor paper with inks and, of course, watercolors! Some of them, mainly those about Small Trolls, will be drawn and inked by Elli, and then they will be mailed to Karo to be colored. This means they have to travel from Great-Britain to Finland to get colored. 
• We're trying to come up with some sort of handy way of archiving our Patreon-posts. Unfortunately Patreon offers no easy way to do this (like a masterpost that always sticks to the top) so we have to get creative about this. But until then, tags are the best way to try to look for specific things!

So that's what's been going down this first month! We can't wait to tell you what happens by the next monthly news-letter. We're very humbled by the opportunities and support you've so willingly shown us and to our work.
