The first time I ever hosted a party at my parent's place when they were out of town, a party that involved alcohol no less, I made sure to prepare goody bags for all my guests: I wanted the experience to feel curated and special. It was pirate-themed, and I bought everyone pirate figurines and pirate-themed treats and, lemme tell yah, it went down very well. From then on I just had friends over and we got drunk and vomited, but that first party, with the goody bags and the pirate toys? Huge hit. I gottah bring it back!

Waw no mentions yet but: Believe it was the amazing filler word they came up with because in the Japanese he says "dattebayo" which is more if a verbal punctuation than anything else, but a very informal and usually childish way.... Why they felt this warrented a catchphrase is beyond me but thankfully when Naruto grows us, so does his speech patterns. Love that you guys did this. I can see Naruto has influenced a lot if Murph's writing (not a bad thing) and it's great to hear Jake's thoughts! Also... Of caus Caldwell knows uzumaki... Y'all need to read uzumaki 😂

One would perform this technique incorrectly by unevenly splitting the users chakra amongst the clones or using too much chakra. Naruto only was able to use this jutsu because immense chakra reserves.

1. I think the Driving License episode is how you should do a filler. Since there are no real stakes anyway you might as well have a comedic episode, and it harkens back to the era when Dragon Ball was comedy first and action second (which i much preferred). 2. When Emily mentioned the Swarm Keeper subclass being like Shino, did anyone else want to see a Naruto-esque/ Ninja themed Dnd campaign where they all do a monk multiclass? Like doing ninja scrolls instead of spell books, having that structure of a four man squad going on missions, reflavoring spells for jutsu like Benign Transposition or even swapping places via the Manifest Echo feature as the substitution jutsu. It would really fun to see what kind of multiclass combinations they could come up with.

I used to work with some some people that were super into Anime. They talked me into trying Naruto. They didn't say why but they strongly advised me to watch the Sub. Normally, I would agree, I prefer Subs to Dubs on MOST Anime. But, it's been hard for me to ONLY focus on shows so I usually play a video game when I watch things. Can't read the screen when you're looking at a different screen. So DUB it was. I came to work the next day and said I couldn't do it. They laughed and two of them looked at me and said "Believe it!" That was about 5 years ago and I haven't tried it again. BUT TRIGUN!!!!! Watch that shit... That is my 2nd favorite Anime. It's so good.

Caldwell mentioned that he loves a good shonen show, and I'm kind of wondering what other ones he's a fan of. I think Naruto is the only one the gang mentions with any regularity (and may the only one Caldwell, Emily and Murph have all seen some of), but I'd wonder about his opinion on One Piece, Bleach, My Hero Academia, Rurouni Kenshin, InuYashu etc. too. I'd assume Caldwell is the only one with extensive exposure to them at least, going off what they've said.
