Mission to the Arctic Circle | Part 2

The sun was quietly rising and the occasional ray of sunlight touched through the body of the trailer. Literally and figuratively small points of light, the night was terrible. It was freezing cold and we had the North wind against us, I didn't want to take out my sleeping bag because then I also had to take off my shoes and thus couldn't run quickly should we be spotted. Also, I had hit my head on an iron bar. I was dizzy and later Rico also noticed that I was bleeding a little. Somehow I was glad it had happened; it is still life-threatening such a freight train. A mistake can mean death, and this situation made me realize it again. After that I was more careful.

For hours I lay awake under the trailer next to Rico who was suffering at least as much. The other gauy from Australia was sleeping comfortably in his sleeping bag, looking carefree. It wasn't until around 11 a.m. that the temperature became a little more pleasant. We tried to sit in the sun as much as possible to warm up, and that cold night finally gave way to a beautiful day, with good views and new frontiers.

Hannes Fiedler

nice as always, but where is the 3rd part btw?

Samuel Baudach

The end of that was incredible - the weird juxtaposition of the death metal dude and the factory, with the river sunset and then the way the drone shots came in and the metal track got higher quality and finishing on the neon signs. Man, that was some of the greatest shit you've ever done. I have nothing but respect for the way you travel with your eyes and ears open and capture such wonderful strange but mundane things.

How do we find Johnny??

Chaka

The pomeranian giving you a death stare @ 24:23 is particularly metal 🤣

bittersweet_ik

Keith Hambidge

Doomguy

Another awesome video! Can't wait for next part. Did you end up talking to that metalhead with invisible audience? Bet there is a very interesting lore behind his character.

leon

Now that's a unique way to cross the Öresund bridge

Jojje

It’s genuinely great content that you make. Everywhere you go is beautiful. And the music choice is phenomenal every time. Thank you

Serg

Loved the transition from man with his dogs just vibing to montage with metal

4dan

Sweden is just built different

Samuel Baudach

Nice video editing

Ian M

That was weird with the guy dancing and how long was he doing it for? If you come across electric train tracks, can you walk on them and is it still safe to surf on trains?

What a fascinating & enjoyable presentation. As always, you have given your viewers a well documented, wonderfully narrated, & beautifully filmed video. Looking forward to the next offering. Thank you for sharing!

Peter Migliorini

I can see it still, did they just age restrict it?

EricB

Mission to locate subterranean Swedish dance parties. Death metal guy was resplendent with his hounds from hell. Beautiful work thanks Poison.

I was watching on Youtube and in the middle of the video YT took it down.

Oh wow, beautifully shot and edited as usual. Love those curve scenes, Sweden looks a lot like Northern Ontario in places. That new bridge between Denmark and Sweden is amazing. Once coming back from Norway and Sweden on the overnight train from Oslo to Copenhagen, our entire train was loaded onto a ferry with us in it, then reassembled on the other side. Looking forward to watching Part 3!!

John Fisher

They way passing bridge syncs to the music at 6:18 is amazing

Bartłomiej Żak

you are the best

Nathan Walker

Love your content, keep traveling!

Nicholas Sellier

When he said he'd take you to a better city and the next city you arrived at was mjölby I burst out laughing. If only you'd stayed on the train for one more stop you'd get to an actual nice city, but I am biased. So fun and cool to see Sweden through your eyes!!!

Simone

What a journey as always, and I just want to say that your intro and outro sequences also go so hard, edited and shot so poignantly

James Gutteridge

Phenomenal viewing as always, the ambience in your projects is unparalleled 🙌
