Sorcerer - Corrosive Bloodline

Get ready to embrace the darker side of magic with the Corrosive Bloodline Sorcerer!

This potent archetype brings a unique flavor to the sorcerer class, allowing players to harness the forces of decay, toxins, and chemical warfare.

Inspired by the grim realities of World War I and the lyrics of Sabaton's "Father" (an absolute banger might I add), this subclass explores the devastating potential of alchemical and biological weapons in a fantasy setting.

It is a very sorcerer-coded subclass, meaning that it is mostly focused on one spell/ability, but you get to customize the hell out of it, like sorcerers are meant to do. You'll take this spell from decent, to absolutely monstrous.

As a Corrosive Bloodline Sorcerer, you'll command noxious miasmas, manipulate acids, and even accelerate decomposition itself. Your powers will grow from merely toxic to truly corrosive, eating through defenses and ignoring poison resistance, you even get hallucinogenics!

Whether you're looking to play a tortured alchemist's descendant, a survivor of magical contamination, or simply a sorcerer with a knack for the nastier side of magic, I hope the Corrosive Bloodline will have something for you.

Enjoy!

P.S: Here's an adventure that you can use to unleash the full powers of this subclass!

How's this for an idea: a fighter subclass that focuses on making explosives.

Haha thanks!

Monkey DM

the spell does, unless you use the Lingering effect from your subclass while casting it, which allows you to make it last for 1 minute. In addition most of the effects don't require the spell to last more than one round, it is quite flexible.

Monkey DM

Yup, just cause it looks cool haha

Monkey DM

So the subclass learns misma of death, and the class gives it bonuses that indicated for multiple turns, but the spell ends at the end of the casters next turn?

Is there any special reason for the steinhardt page format, or did you use it bc it looks cool?

Hayden Deatherage

I wasn't expecting a Sabaton-based subclass, but I'm sure as hell not complaining.
