When the story started, Tanjiro was 13, Nezuko was 12. The main story unfolds around his 15, and her 14. The rumor tells that Urokodaki wore that mask because his face looked too gentle for a warrior. Like Haganezuka, all sword-smiths wear masks to hide their identity as protection from demons.
