It is FIRST on my list this weekπ I feel like I want to bring my A game and lots of energy for this one so I appreciate your patience β‘β‘ Really looking forward to it!
Also checking out more Sein and Trek, Scrooged (winner of the Christmas movie poll), Bruce Almighty (cause I want to see another Jim Carrey comedy) and Live Free or Die Hard (Bruce Willis standing in front of explosions - yes please!)!
I dunno about you guys but we got a crap ton of snow overnight and it's been going all day! Gotta love a good old fashioned Canadian Snow Squall Warning!
Makes me want to stay in with a cup of hot cocoa! What's your fav cold weather treat?

Get well soon Jen! Never fun being sick, especially on weekends :( This late fall/winter season is already kickin' my sorry arse, hoping my new vitamin regimen and vaccine boosters kick in soon and have the desired effect. Who would hurt the bubble boy!?!?!? And the Cheever letters....I've heard some of his stuff..... Classic Seinfeld!

When I was a kid in the 80s, 90s, the snow sometimes didn't melt for weeks or months and there were times when we had even 40-50 cm falling in a few days. Nowadays it is quite rare to even snow, it usually happens only few times a year. And even then it melts within a few days. I can't even remember the last time we had a white Christmas. It is now usually 10-15Β°C around that time of the year.

I'd much rather have 6 - 7 feet of snow and -25c by now, all winter long, than this depressing grayness. The cold when it's -1c and raining is waay worse. But then I'd have to move north.

It has too much sugar, of course, but it tastes so good on a cold, wintry day! ππβ€οΈ And something more medicinal for being under the weather is a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup. π²π You can't go wrong with that. π€

Will do a first watch with your reaction. Looking forward to Deadpool & Wolverine, which I have not seen. Been waiting for the stream price to drop, which it has. Plus, now streaming for free for me on Disney+ because I am a subscriber.

A few flakes, but nothing else, just cold air. My pref for cold weather food are crock pot meals: chili with cornbread, beef Stew, chicken & dumplings, etc. hope you feel better soon!
