📺 Saturday Morning Cartoons #2: Looney Tunes ♡♡

Comments

I'd love to see Superman Returns (2006) here. It's not as great as the classic 70s one but it's still pretty enjoyable, I thought. Brandon Routh does a decent job, he had very big boots to fill in for. I thought this Lex Luthor was way better than the one we got in Batman vs. Superman.

I know I'm late to the party but I like the saturday morning cartoons & mail format, I hope they continue. Some of my favorite Bugs Bunny cartoons are the opera parodies: 'What's Opera Doc' and 'The Rabbit of Seville'.

RobertC

That was such an enjoyable blast! 😎💜

What!!? I open her Patreon page and I found this!!

You're thinking of "Hare Trigger", where western outlaw Sam pulls a gun on Bugs and says, "All right, dance!" Bugs does a vaudeville time-step, says "Take it, Sam!", and Sam taps his toes...and does an off-to-Buffalo straight into a mine shaft.

If you haven't seen it (and it's amazing how many people your age haven't) you should check out Who Framed Roger Rabbit, although I would suggest you watch Harvey before that, just so you will understand one joke in the Roger Rabbit movie.

Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety & Sylvester, Heckle & Jeckle, Mighty Mouse, Speedy Gonzales, Foghorn Leghorn, Quick Draw McGraw & Baba Looey, Mr. Magoo, The Flintstones, Huckleberry Hound, Tom & Jerry, Underdog, Scooby Doo, Augie Doggie, Yogi Bear & BooBoo, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Top Cat, Snagglepuss, Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote, Such great memories and variety growing up in the 60's and 70's. I dont know what kids watch these days, but I am guessing they dont have the variety that I had.

Bugs Bunny is definitely my favorite of the Looney Tunes characters. There's one where he's up against Yosemite Sam and they end up doing a dance number or something like that. For some reason, that's what sticks out to me most, along with the classic "Rabbit Season" "Duck Season" bit with Daffy and Elmer Fudd. Back in the late 90s and early 00s, Cartoon Network had a parody of the Super Bowl that they called The Big Game. It'd be like Sylvester vs. Tweety, Bugs vs. Daffy, that sort of thing. It'd be a couple of the regular cartoons, but with commentary added by NFL announcers. So while not specifically a Looney Tunes thing, that was memorable for me with how silly that was.

Do you mean you've never seen a single Jim Carrey movie or just for the channel? Either way, for as many worthwhile comedies that he has(Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, Earth Girls Are Easy, Me Myself & Irene), he's also a great dramatic actor(Man on the Moon, Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)

Another Shark movie recommendation: Deep Blue Sea

To Wa

works fine for me

Lean

Looks like YT broke this video because it always stops after 5 secs.

Tim Arnold

She's taken most people's recommendations to watch the parodies of James Bond which are the Austin Powers films, before moving on to the more series Daniel Craig bond films. It's something I among others recommended.

Todd Preble

You seem to be dragging your feet to watch the Daniel Craig Bond movies. Why is that?

Chuck Drennen

Loved this! My favorite Looney Tunes short has to be the one where Porky Pig and Sylvester stay at an abandoned hotel and Sylvester has to fight off rats 🤣. Also, Pink Panther cartoons! 🤓

Carlos Perez

2 and a half cartoons?

Chuck Drennen

I have 5 box sets of Looney Tunes but I'll watch them with you. We need to eat bowls of cereal while sitting on the floor to watch them properly. Saturday morning cartoons were the only time us kids got to watch what we wanted to.

Chuck Drennen

What's up Doc!.. Bugs Bunny/Road Runner show ran on Saturday mornings for more than 40 years,Bugs,Daffy & Road Runner are the characters I'm most familiar with ..Good choice Jenny♡I got Capt.Crunch & Rice Crispy's,got my kids with me..Roll em!!

Celeste McAllister

The Bugs Bunny conducting the symphony is actually a much longer cartoon, we just watched the last half of it. It starts with Bugs being annoyed by the singer making too much noise and upsetting Bugs in his home. He tries to fight back, but the singer at first wins. That is when we come into the half we watched, and why Bugs was trying to hurt the singer.

Vwlss Nvwls

Haha that Superman is awesome. Looks like it’s the Brandon Routh variant so now you gotta watch Superman Returns (2006) 😃

Mark McKeown

Another fun video! Thyvethter the cat was basically Willie E. Coyote here! LOL The orchestra led by Bugs Bunny is favorite of mine. Classic. Glad you did some more cartoons. Just fun to wake up to and eat breakfast with. Also nice package opening piece. That box full of a variety items and the others with those soundtracks since they know you enjoy the music in movies! Also, don't worry about having technical problems with Live streams. When they happen, they can be part of the charm as we laugh with you (and NOT at you). It's part of the fun and charm. Ever see old clips of the Carol Burnett Show where they just start breaking down and laughing? Makes it so much better, so don't feel bad when glitches happen.

Todd Preble

After watching the mailbag I had to go buy my own stacks of money on Amazon UK (well just one stack for now) Amazon has already recommended me other fake items cause of it. Now I see Fake lotto tickets., fake parking tickets, and of course fake poop... I am going down a dark path.

Thomas Mc

adorable. :) i guess now u wont have to cgi "the stacks" anymore :)
