[REPOST] 🗳️ Poll: Sister Halloween Movie

Sorry for the repost guys but after talking to Tara I'm going to do The Exorcist myself! I don't think she will enjoy it at all.

I was going to just do the second place movie but I don't want everyone who voted for Exorcist to feel like they wasted their vote.

Poll is reposted below, anything that had votes is back + I added a couple.

Oh the Addams Family movies are great!

Jeremy Vickers

Don't worry about "getting it right". There will always be someone who doesn't like something because it doesn't suit their taste. And yes, "Beetlejuice" contains ghosts and things that happen in the Afterlife. Part and parcel of the Halloween mythos.

Miles E Coburn

Come on Young Frankenstein!

Jeremy Vickers

Nice one Jen. Maybe you could watch a few of these over the Halloween period.

Chidi.

I love horror, especially the gory ones, but Halloween isn’t just about full-on horror it’s also about fun. If you don’t get to see your sister very often then it should be fun for you both. Beetlejuice is definitely good for Halloween, Jen. Movies such as The Addams Family (1991), The Haunted Mansion (2003) or even animated movies such as Hotel Transylvania (2012) can be great at Halloween. Daryl’s suggestion of The Frighteners (1996) is also excellent for both of you.

Lee Pitman

All great for Halloween.

Lee Pitman

You’re gonna have to do Halloween sometime. I still can’t believe you’re doing The Exorcist. I’ll say a prayer for you 🙏

Rick Trujillo

Michael J Fox in •The Frighteners (1996) That would have been good for this list. Wish I'd of thought of it before.

Daryl

I'm not trying to pass off anything. I genuinely find gorey slashers like Scream to be much scarier than movies about ghosts, demons, vampires, etc. I know that's blasphemy, but I can't help what I'm scared of. If you guys are looking to see me get actually freaked out, vote for a slasher.

Jen M

I should have deduced that was the reasoning. Makes sense. If you see my comment below concerning the various styles of horror movies, I hope you consider that. You’re not the only reaction channel that gets sheepish with horror and tries to pass off parodies and spoofs as their horror movies for the spooky season. LOL

Bartleby

Beetlejuice definitely counts for the Halloween season. It’s a spooky season in general and Beetlejuice absolutely fits the bill.

I'm so happy to see Young Frankenstein and Beetlejuice battling for first place. Both are very good spooky comedies.

PapaXan

I say it's perfect for Halloween while also not being scary at all

mikethemotormouth

I dunno man. I hate spoilers so I try not to read too much about movies. I googled "Halloween movies" and it was on a bunch of Halloween lists. I really cant get it right on these polls it seems. I guess I'll have to start looking into movies more and watching trailers and stuff.

Jen M

Beetlejuice isn't a Halloween movie then. It's purely a comedy.

Gideon James

I never said horror. I said Halloween.

Jen M

Hi Sam. As I mentioned I am getting together with my sister in a couple weeks and we thought it would be fun to record 2 movies together to release at Halloween. We live far apart and cannot visit very often. It was supposed to be fun. And I never said there were only 2 movies planned.

Jen M

She’s going to sit on it that long?! Then why is there even a poll? Just watch Halloween Jen! I hope there are more than two horror movies planned for the month.

Bartleby

Beetlejuice is a comedy not a Halloween horror film.

Gideon James

This is a Halloween movie poll. Man!

Gideon James

Sorry man. Halloween must be watched in October. Those are the rules. I don’t make them, you’ll just have to wait for the fall.

Bartleby

And Scream (1996) spoils some Halloween (1978) scenes as well.

Ian Cano

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

Chris C

Same reasoning as before, perhaps a funny monster movie is something worth pursuing with Tara. I voted for "Young Frankenstein" (1974)(as before). Another option might be an oldie movie, "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" (1948). Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolf Man. Plus a surprise guest appearance from another monster movie.

Miles E Coburn

I told you people were just trying to roast you with Exorcist.

Craig Fuller

Same :)

Barry Hammock

If Scream wins, just realize that it unveils a spoiler on Friday the 13th ..

Barry Hammock

Arsenic and Old Lace

Alexander Kalinowski

It's gonna be Halloween so you might as well let her watch it. Has to happen sooner or later. Halloween 78 reactions do get really good viewership numbers on youtube. Just sayin'

Gideon James

*still picks Halloween* 😁
