The two actors playing Bill & Ted are so charming in their roles. Of course Keanu is Ted. Bill though is played by Alex Winter. He has a small part in The Lost Boys. Winter also wrote and directed his own bizarre comedy in which Keanu appears called “Freaked” Very strange and funny movie. And yes, the band playing in the Battle of the Bands was a real band called “Primus” They were a 90s band party for the whole alternative rock scene. The bass player/singer, Les Claypool, is regarded as one of the top rock bassists. If you’ve ever seen an episode of South Park, you’ve heard their music. Primus is the band that plays the opening theme of South Park. That one gig probably made them more money than the rest of their musical career. LOL

2022-04-11 01:44:45 +0000 UTCI still have Kiss - "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You II" stuck in my head from watching this movie over 20 years ago, though all music plays in my head constantly, it's a curse. Love using Poisons "Every Rose Has it's Thorn" to get into heaven, amazing. STATION!!!
