Time is a flat circle.
Some shocking moments in this and absolutely fascinating to see Marty and Rust lying to the detectives. It makes me wonder if one or both of them have been unreliable narrators on other details we have seen so far...

2022-02-10 15:39:20 +0000 UTCCool reaction Jen! It's clear that Marty's actions at the beginning blew your mind. I'll add to that... Rust quotes LeDoux, saying "Time is a flat circle". He asks the detectives how many times they've had this conversation, and says they'll do it all again, living the same life over and over - and the kids will be back in that trailer, again. You know what else is a flat circle? A camera lens. The kids *are* back in that trailer - because you're watching the show. He's talking to the detectives, again. Rust and Marty and Ledoux and everyone else in the story will live the same life over and over as long as someone is watching this show. There's a particularly brilliant shot of this episode, but I'll save talking about it until we're at the end :)
