Inside Out (2015) Full Length Reaction!

This movie was so sweet + heartfelt! Such a cool concept to show the inner workings of the mind & roles of the emotions. It was really relatable because we've all gone through those coming of age years + saying goodbye to childhood is so bittersweet.

I definitely teared up but there were also lots of laughs as well + tons of great actors voicing the characters! Apologies for saying "cute" like 1 million times... but it's cute!! :)

Looking forward to reacting to more animated movies, there are so many great ones I haven't seen. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them! :)

Inside Out (2015) Full Length Reaction!

Thanks Joe! I really loved this one and have thought about it a number of times since I recorded it last September. It's a surprisingly mature and thoughtful take on emotions and depression, it really stuck with me. So glad you enjoyed my reaction!

I finally got to see this reaction tonight. Can’t believe it took me this long. I usually don’t gush over animated movies but this really hit home. This concept was so well made, it deserved all the praise it received. I believe it got an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay that year. This was definitely on my top ten movies of that year as well. Loved the reaction Jennifer. Keep up the the great work.

I don't know how I missed this movie! I was so much fun! My sister in an animator, not for movies but she is always telling me the new animated movies I should be watching and this slipped by me!! I loved the movie and I loved your reaction! I just finished the movie so I haven't had a lot of time to think about it but to me sadness seemed important because it was the way they could connect with people. They didn't hit this a lot(unless I missed it) but when bing bong was sad because he lost his wagon sadness was able to connect with him. And later, joy saw one of Riley's older happy memories it was sad at first because she had missed the winning goal. But her sadness helped her connect with her parents and teammates. Being happy isn't the only thing we should do; we need all of the emotions working together. This may be stretching but does the movie describe depression when joy is lost with sadness? I don't know and admit I was stretching but I was thinking that earlier in the movie. Also, you're right, Toy Story 3 gets me every single time. The scene in the furnace when they are sliding down and are struggling to get out. They are scared but then without saying anything they just look to each other, realize this is the end and there's nothing they can come up with to escape, but come to terms with their own mortality and just hold each others hands... knowing they will be okay as long as they're together. Every time I see that it breaks me down. HOW IS THIS A MOVIE FOR KIDS?!? So good :) Great job Jen and thank you for introducing me to this awesome movie! I will definitely watch this a few more times.
