We’re testing lava resin designs!
Added 2023-01-17 16:17:52 +0000 UTCResin axe update! As y’all know, we’ve been working for a while on a lava resin axe. We recently made resin “lava rocks” and now they’re embedded in the axe handles along with some clear resin.
But since a) we’ve never tried to make resin look like lava, b) we bought some new glow powder, and c) we didn’t wanna mess up all the work we put into making those rocks, we thought we’d some some ~small scale tests~!
Believe it or not, each of these is a different combo of 2 glow powders and 4 colored pigments. Now to figure out which looks the most like lava. I kinda like #6 (middle row, second from the left) but it has no glow powder! So idk, maybe we can combine a couple of these into the perfect lava. -K
