Updates and sneak peeks!

Hey guys! Wanted to give you an update on all the happenings around these parts. We thought April would be a nice, more chill month after all the travel craziness but we are managing to fill it with projects haha.

So first off - we updated our CNC with t-tracks and clamps! Y'all have seen pics of this on socials so it's not really a sneak peek, but we have a video and an aftershow coming your way tomorrow (hopefully - if the sponsor will respond with approval in time... grr).

We've also been working on our knife for our collab with Alec Steele!

Soooo many prototypes but as of now, this is the official one. Just put in our order to get it made in metal!! Getting a sort of gunmetal stainless steel for us, and a black stainless steel for Alec.

We spent a good 10 minutes trying to get a shot of spinning the knife and having it stop spinning on the right side...

3D model of the current version... so cool!

We're also working on a project with some of the bloggers and YouTubers that got together at WorkbenchCon, we're all doing square wood art. Thinking about something with twisted veneer inspired by @laura_made_it on Instagram (we shared her as a follow friday a long time ago and love her work)

Gonna do some small scale tests for this on Twitch either late this week or next week :D Should be fun.

We are in the middle of editing our project with Bob and that should be posted April 12th. We took 522 individual video clips. 5-2-2. So... I'm gonna need all the time I can get to edit it. We are not by any means "trim" with our filming... but it's way worse with collabs! Can't just retake a shot or anything if we realize we're missing something after we leave. 

We're also brainstorming a project with the Moai printer. We're still trying to figure out the best way to cure the prints, but they're sooooo smooth and perfect we think they'd be good for mold making.

That's the first test print we did. It's hard to tell in the photo but it's so dang detailed and precise!!

Anyways, hope y'all had a great holiday weekend! We're spending the day getting caught up on emails (super exciting) but hoping to go out and get materials for our wood art later today. Bye guys! -K
