Okay so. I get it. I get they're scary.

Boy, how do I talk about something I can't talk about? Well, I guess I should try to be that thing Stahl always says. Obtuse, right?
Don't talk about the thing, it knows. Don't look at the thing, it'll see you. Don't listen to the thing, it's a liar. Problem solved.
Stahl's Notes:
It's oblique.
What's important to understand in situations like this is that it's better not to think about it. They show up in places in the middle of the night. In your yard, at your front door. If it's decided to take an interest in you, it's a good decision to simply not pay attention to it and go about your business. Eventually, it'll get bored and move on.
