Ovre Olskroksgatan 6 Pt. 1

Have to make a new scene for promo content and found these great photos taken by a friend of mine, so I decided it could be fun to rebuild this apartment using the perspective match tool.

Pulze also changed my life. So glad you're using it too now. I started about 1 year ago and have not looked back, it completely revolutionized my entire 3dsmax workflow! The developers are also super responsive if you ever want to email them about bugs or improvements :)

Nice video Johannes. I am just asking you to post the original "normal speed" video for this one or any coming video. Another question related to HDRIs, do you find that we need to use all these HDRIs? HDRIHAVEN & NoEmotion & Cgsource & Peter Guthrie ? Thousands of HDRIs. Can't we use 4 or 5 HDRIs, cloudy, overcast, sunset, etc. for all scenes and get the appropriate mood with some tuning and luts?. Another question, If I want to ask about an old video, Could I post a comment on that video, do you have a notification for this? as I see some people has questions without your answer. Also if I have a suggestion for a video, where to put it?. Sorry for my frequent questions and thank you for these great videos.

Pulze is the future!

Horray! Really looking for THIS project, hopefully it wont be like 1 vid in 2 weeks, haha :)

stil on max 2016 atm, didn't try it in newer versions, Pure ref is golden, i use it on all projects, no easier way to keep a reference on the screen while working

Are you using max 2020/2021? Don't know when it was made but the fact that the Z axis (blue line) doesn't work is a "feature", because someone wanted it to lock to uniform cameras and not allow for non-uniform perspectives. So instead of just switching to XY mode, they destroyed the XYZ mode. So now without a working Z-axis, it's not possible to match images that are straightened / lens corrected. Someone thought that was a good idea. I did use PureRef for a while, kind of liked it but fell out of it. For some reason I thought it was a bit annoying, don't really know why :D

what i like to do is correct the distortion in shots before camera match but not manually, you go to photoshop and you go to lense distortion section and you select the camera used and lense model etc and it auto corrects the distortion before you start matching, it helps most times for me, also to keep references on the screen so viewers can see while your working you can use pur ref, amazing tool, you can put many references inside and it stays ontop of any window you have open and its borderless so makes color matching nicer to use, just some tips:)
