Hi Johannes, is there a specific reason to have the light portal subdivided instead of plain plane? Does it give any benefit?

Johhanes I was a patron's longtime subscriber at the time of the Scandinavian tutorial.
I renewed my license now and can not access old videos, only new ones.
Can I do anything to change that?
