So yeah, the mist ended fast here because it actually never happened in the manga. I'm sure Kakashi CAN use it (maybe), but he never did in this fight. Also I love that slowmo of Kakshi's 3 kunai going past Itachi, because you see Itachi doing the hand signs for his Fireball so ridiculously fast that he's able to finish the hand signs and cast the Fireball by the time those 3 kunai are done flying past him! And that's actually canon. Itachi's seal speed (as far as I remember) is said/shown to be the fastest. The finger Genjutsu people don't fully know how it works. Some say Itachi just has to point at you, which is broken because how do you dodge that? Others say that the target has to LOOK at his finger, which is also broken. Like, how hard is it for you not to look at the title if it suddenly pops up on the screen? Now try to imagine someone pointing at you and you NOT looking at their finger for a brief second. That's REALLY hard because of how our eyes are drawn to movement. It's also broken because if people need to look at his finger, that means he can catch multiple people in the same finger Genjutsu. If he has to point at them, then he can only catch one, even if they don't need to look at his finger. Either way, it's OP. Also yeah this fight with "Itachi" was interesting. While it wasn't really Itachi and only had 30% of his chakra and ability, the real Itachi was still controlling it. I found Itachi's smile when he got hit by the Oodama Rasengan to be... weird. It wasn't a smug "Gotcha" smirk. It looked like a... genuinely happy smile, like a proud or content one. Even Naruto thought it was off. And Kakashi noticed Itachi was weird too. Compared to Kisame's fight, Itachi behaved VERY differently. In the canon manga version of this fight, everything that happened after Naruto was broken out of the Genjutsu and before Kakashi threw those 3 slow-motion kunai did not happen in the manga. The whole encounter was Itachi using a finger Genjutsu on Naruto (and that whole sequence in the Genjutsu), Itachi dodging around Kakashi's kunai while performing a Fireball, and Itachi forcing a Sharingan Genjutsu on Kakashi's clone. That's ALL Itachi did in the manga, meaning that Itachi NEVER ONCE moved his feet. He stayed standing in that one spot and didn't initiate an all-out offensive. Instead he was very passive. He utilized very little subtlety and absolutely none of his speed... because he LITERALLY didn't move. Even though he was in a grip with Kakashi's clone, we don't even see him TRY to move away from the Oodama Rasengan, (again, his feet stayed planted). I'd be saying "Because Itachi knew he was just a clone and wouldn't really die." But the longer his clone stays alive, the longer Kakashi's team would be delayed. So I found it really weird. Anyway, so while we got to see a longer fight with Itachi, we didn't really get to see anything from him aside from a finger Genjutsu. Looking back on it, this fight barely showed us anything about Itachi, compared to what he did in part 1. Though it did show use more about the speed of his hand signs. While Kakashi's Raikiri and Hidden Mist Jutsu never happened in the manga version of this fight, Itachi forming those fast hand signs while dodging Kakashi's kunai did happen.
