I still think it's crazy that these creatures in the castle can possibly be so fast or powerful that they can all hand the radleys their asses, it's just weird. Plus with everything going on I'm surprised the queen hasn't visited his dreamscape to talk to or warn him about anything going on.....

Dam that was an amazing chapter that I'm upset I missed the email for it's release. Sorry for the grief a few weeks ago Annabelle I was just withdrawing for my mike radley fix lol. Now I'm even more desperate for the next chapter hopefully that comes sooner rather than later. However since its been shown I feel like it's going to be Mike that pulls Excalibur. I guess we will just have to wait and see, also I wonder how much longer until nyx gives into her feelings for Mike, or at least I hope it goes that way, she gets the crazy boned out of her lol.

Guys I think everyone is forgetting Mike has gotten strong in sex and soul magic but still he is mostly Human in physical skill, that and he wasn't using his strengths to his best being blinded by impatience and worry. Mike's strengths are his mind and his heart, not his body.

I think in the last couple books we've seen him become pretty powerful. Remember when he took on that elevator full of Order soldiers by himself? In this book he tore that shadow demon apart. Nyx had also said that "...one thing was clear. Whatever power he possessed was enough to tear her apart, should he choose to do so." So Mike can clearly deal with a lot of threats by himself. However, there's 5 vassals plus Vicentius, who is apparently powerful enough to keep the rest in line. Mike does have limits. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he could beat at least Charlotte in a 1 on 1. The only reason Mike's danger sense didn't go off and thus he wasn't able to avoid being lifted off the ground was because Charlotte meant no harm. But again, it's not just Charlotte, it's the entire castle.

Been a while since I chimed in. Excellent chapter and a long one at that. You have a lot of threads going on. I'm sure it will be one hell of a tapestry when you pull them all together. Loved the moment and conversation with not siblings Cecilia and Sulyvahn. It's nice seeing them interacting like that. Anyway have a very Merry Christmas and happy new year. …so I have my doubts that Mike is functionally weaker than anybody there save Galahad and…whoever Vincentius is supposed to be. Despite the maid practically manhandling him, Mike has gone toe-to-toe with 3 of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse and a Greater Angel, who are literally concepts made manifest of very powerful ideas, and while he couldn’t kill them save for the Angel, he did handily hand them their hats. No way the ‘prison guards’ are that much stronger in comparison; I suspect the trick is the thing, probably the secret Mike is sure to be shown at the heart of Avalon. Once that it removed, likely the intrepid adventurers will have much more of a fighting chance.
