Thank you Jim! :) this is definitely one of my favorite songs by them, and I love to see how tight they are with each other. When they need a break, they take one - maybe that's why it took ten years between the latest albums? I'm glad that even tho they did have problems during the Mutter album, they still kept working together.

They have described their relationship as „like a marriage without sex“ before and I think you can definitely tell they‘ve been through all sorts of highs and lows before. I want to mention something about the song: The video very clearly is about the unity of the band, yes. The song itself is much more complex though. The interpretation with it being about the loss of someone is very popular (and I like that one, too), however I mentioned it during the Rammstein concert stream once: Ohne Dich could very well be about addiction. Without the object of addiction, the lyrical I experiences withdrawal symptoms, he/she can‘t be without it. But with that object, he/she still feels like crap. Fits quite well with how addictions work... In the end, it‘s up to the listener to decide what idea to go with; the cool thing is that Rammstein never force you into an interpretation.
