ah hahaha ha ha. i'm not okay!!! The very real letter that Ruby wrote when she finally got going killed me! The understanding, saying that the MC would make this all more bearable, asking why the MC hasn't written to J!!!! The yearning to see January and to be seen by January. That's all my girls have ever wanted. Understanding. Ms V hugging Ruby close after being distant hurts, but especially Ms V demanding details. Ugh, augh, ow it makes me feel so bad to imagine that Ruby saw her father, what state was he in... The color coded paper - her playground plans that were interrupted by Grandpa, SHE SAVED IT.
