Awesome reaction, I agree with you completely about Askelaad kind of being there "conduit" throughout the show, and of course people will ALWAYS overhype a show they love. Its crazy how many new anime started in 2019. And this wasn't even my favorite. Its The Promised Neverland and Fire Force and then this as #3. Just goes to show the new "Era" of anime we're in now.

2020-03-24 06:27:27 +0000 UTCHave to agree, it has been over hyped. A few episodes have been great in their own right independent of the story itself. Animation has been okay but that isn't really the focus. And the whole thing about love. The whole focus was how everything was crafted so "beautifully" yet there is so many flaws in man. We got the ability to think and question by eating the forbidden fruit, but we also feel jealousy, hatred etc. Animals do not feel envy, they simply exist in this world, where they become nutrients for others etc. The wind exists without feeling greed etc. We cannot love, to properly love is to love every being indiscriminately. And in this episodes they tie it into the plot of 'what is a true warrior?' Some nice stuff.
