Sales Tax Reminder and other ramblings.

Hey all,

A reminder that sales tax for your respective regions will be added from this point going forward, automatically added by Patreon.  As far as I can tell things on my end are set though I expect to take a bit of a hit.

That said, the next note has been sent out to the next person on the Patron Sketch list.  I've had to accept that I'm just a month behind at this point, which the 'production' part of my brain hates, but the 'practical' part of it just has to accept.  I apologize to folks on the list that things got pushed back about 3 weeks.  Sadly the whole pandemic thing really threw a spanner into life situations, and I've had to take on extra responsibility as a result of it.

On the pipeline side of things, I have a couple images to ink, including the image of the trio walking through the weird little town, and I'd like to get back into doing some colour/painting work if its possible.  I also have a bit more sketchwork for background stuff on the slow-going comic of Cinders' journeys I have brewing.

I'm also currently working on a rather large map of the largest continent of the world itself.  I plan on actually getting this done once and for all, and will share it here when its hit an overall complete stage.  I've been waffling around on getting a setting done for the better part of 20 years now, and I'd rather not wait another 20 to start the project.

When I have more of a structure of the world in place, I also plan on writing on it in some capacity.  While I'm not sure of the format just yet (perhaps a travelogue through the eyes of one of the explorers?) I'm fairly confident that I could add to the journal every week at least, and write about the many, many little creatures running around in my head, including Cinders and her family,  Ellys,  Ruadhán and Pyredorhân (the three travelers), the Hushed Solus Enclave and a myriad of other places.

I've extensively reworked things within the world itself, going from a 'game world' mentality to making it a place of higher fantasy with that same lean towards the Solomon Kane age and feel.

It probably will make little sense, but it'll at least be fun to write in.

I'm trying to broaden things a little.  The art will remain as always, but I'd like to try a shot at writing as well, and this is as good a place as any.  At one point I was rummaging around for a separate site to use as a blog, when I realized Patreon itself serves as a blog with extra features.  So I may as well keep everything contained here.
