The Whistling Keg (linework)

Managed to clear more of the art ideas in my head out, this time a follow up to the last image, following the three farmer types into the Whistling Keg and settling in to wait out the storm and probably have a few pints in the meantime.

I'm not very experienced with having lots of people in a single picture I admit, but this seemed to come out fairly okay.

As an aside, I'll be sending out the next patron sketch notification tomorrow, and be trying to get some painting done as well if the weather holds up (the studio was basically an oven for about a week there).

"Raeoh, fer saint's sake, d'ya have to lip all the bread?"

"Lookin' fer the fresh ones."

"But d'ya have to mouth e'rthing in the ruinblessed basket?  W'don't you two-leg it an sort 'em that way."

"Dun wanna.  S'grace to sit like this fer a suncrest"

"You best not drink senseless, I'll be arsed to try an' drag a four-trotter home on me back."

"Found one!  S'tasty yah.  You have th'rest."

"Mulch it all, I'll wait fer the pints instead."

It'd be like everyone walking around in tap-shoes except as big as work boots :D

Isn't it all just the same grain in the end? Eat it, drink it, it's all good. Thank you for posting these scenes. I like the "every dayness" of it all.

I love the ambiance. Think I'll stick around and enjoy some refreshments and wonder about the racket all those hooves make on that wood floor. ;-)

Better than OK, very cozy.
