April Already!?
Added 2018-04-02 18:14:13 +0000 UTCI'm not sure why I'm surprised. April naturally comes after March. Though perhaps because March was just as snow-filled and overcast as February I just didn't notice it as a month.
That said, I'm a bit late on finishing the painting that I'd planned for last month. Easter and some fairly heavy family/work obligations meant that the last week of the month was more of a scramble. The up-side is that I've been granted a week off. I tend to think of time off as 'I get to finally work on things I love', thus the painting will be finished, the Patron sketch will be sketched, and I'll probably start the second painting (pancakes!) after that.
I almost don't know what to do with myself when I have no other obligations. I might even map out a bit more o' the wide world too.
Oh, and otters. I'll finally get to draw otters. Maori themed Otters, and Tiki style idols. Its been quite a while.
That said, thank you all again. You've been amazingly supportive. Far more-so than I could have imagined. I'll endeavor to fill your mailboxes with sketches and paintings, and as always will take up the next patron sketch around the mid-way point of April.
May the snows melt quickly. May the rabbits dance freely.

Family is always important. Too many people lose sight of that fact. Glad you were able to celebrate with them. Have fun with the otters and things you love.
