This pic is a bit late, as I had the drive blow-out a week back, but it's done!
I had a disturbing amount of fun doing this image. I broke away from doing greyscale tonal drawings and just went into this splashing colour around to see what worked. The end result feels a lot brighter and I didn't go through the usual worry of trying to get colours correct (you have to fiddle with them when you do greyscale).
I sorta see the season as late October, which is fitting since it is. That time of year when the leaves are nearly all off of the trees in these parts.
