I don't normally go all wacky-crazy with detail for sketches I do for Patrons, but I loved the subject matter, and was asked to do an autumn scene, which I'm almost incapable of doing without detailing the daylights out of it ;)

I rarely get to work on rifles in the works that I do, as I primarily do fantasy work, so this one required me to do a 'block' model in Sketchup to get dimensions and angling, and then worked from the ample supply of reference and direction from Bruma.

I'm also a sucker for good reference, what can I say.

I also got to use more of the Frenden pencil brushes to sketch this in and I'm pretty much sold on them. I love them. I'm thinking of offering 'pencil shaded' versions of sketches for the next run through the Patron list if desired.

The final inks are being worked on and will be posted following approvals. On the 15th I'll be taking on the next sketch for this month. Everyone currently at the $10 and up tier has been added to the list and will be getting one as I work through it again. I'll be randomly generating a name each month.

I'll also be working on the 'Hello Leef' colour and finishing a couple other sketches I have started with the 'harvest' theme, as well as the 'wolves of autumn' themes.

Lastly I'll have some Star Trek inspired stuff to show as well for an upcoming game-book release.
