I gave Carmen something of a stylistic-touch up the other night. I wanted to make her look more frenzied, and have some sort of goggles on. To make her further mirror a more successful Keaton, I also had the goggles be black with bright pupils (probably x-rays, because she doesn't trust anyone but Ruby)

"I built this out of a car some sucker left double-parked at a Menards. I don't think I'll be returning it."
She works as the host of a web show where she makes dangerous machines that destroy property, while viewing herself as the universe's gift to science. She gets views, but it's usually about "Hey honey, what's your sign?"
Carmen has veeery little of a personal life, outside of work or her little sister. When confronted about her aversion to talking to people, she said "As if Freud socialized when he wrote "Introduction to Psychoanalysis"."
She's Ruby's big sister, and always has her in her sights. Carmen was essentially the adult of the house when they were kids, which bred sort of a workaholic attitude that kept onto her into adulthood. Carmen's never left behind the years of being a scared child, and it's gotten her a little stirred.
Here's a few pics of previous designs I drew, going backwards.
I wanted her to be a little crazier and less overtly hot, to give her more of a personality. Karolyn and Evelyn were already hot asf, so I wanted a more looney look for Carmen as a slight change of pace.
Guess I just went back to the very first drawing of her, where she took more of a god-like role in the dramatically different story. She had universes in jars that she sold to other gods.
This was back in 2016. Before, the series was even about cryptids at all and was moreso about space. That still carried over, but it's less of a highlight.

I'm pretty happy with this as it is. I might add more pics, since I wanna doodle out her relationships and inventions. Think she'd make a nice slot for the bi-weekly animations similar to Evelyn's Vlog.
