Right?! There's always been a part of me that finds the idea appealing. A bigger part doesn't want to be a brain in a vat, mind you. But I do see the appeal.

2018-11-04 14:39:45 +0000 UTCI love this story, but this time around listening to it (excellent reading!), I realized that Fake Akeley (Fakeley?) and his supposedly human, cylinderized friend make so much sense. I would totally elect to have my brain taken out by aliens so I could travel the ether with them and visit other worlds! It *is* the greatest opportunity since Dante! Real Akeley and Wilmarth are fools for not immediately taking the Mi-Go up on their offer.
