Weekly bonus: drawing of episode 15

Hi patrons! I'll start next week to color and paint the future episode 15. Now, many drawings are ready and I wanted to share a little sample of them in attachement (shuffled, cropped, zoomed, framed differently; for no spoilers). As you can see, this episode turns around Pepper, Carrot, Thyme (the older witch) and a mysterious crystal ball.

I made all drawing using Krita 2.9.11 on my good old Intuos3 A4 tablet (10y/o this year). I also improved my pencils-presets for Krita, I'll share my updated brushkit after this episode. Thank you very much for your support, and have a good Sunday!

Thank you Ella! Oh, really cool you tried and like Krita. Yes, for episode 15; I studied how I could produce more precise/thin artworks than with my previous solution: A4 pencil on paper. I believe more precise artworks and fully corrected before coloring/painting can make me win a lot of time to not paint-over endlessly the panels to fix everything. That's what I'll see next week. I hope I was right about it, and not just went perfectionist wasting time ^__^` Last month, to get more precision in my drawings, I tried to upgrade to double size of paper: "A3 size" (29,7cmX42cm) paper but I didn't get the result I wanted and with larger sheet a lot of new issue appears in my workflow: room on table, transport, scanner size. That's why I decided to train more drawing on computer. With full digital, I'm loosing a sort of comfort and it's more difficult with the hands drawing on the tablet horyzontal while looking at a vertical screen ( brain coordination muscle needs training); but it's possible to get the good sync with daily training and then it opens many advantages : I can draw over my digital storyboard, preview the full story on screen, I can do a lot of temporary layer to study alternative poses/guides/perspective, I can insert a panel or remove one if I read weakness in the storytelling, I can also overlay composition-guides ( diagonals, thirds, middle-lines) and move/transform my characters around to get the best framing. Thanks for your support!

thanks for the WIP, excitedly waiting for the episode :)

A big big thank you JakeC! Yes, I did a big crop on the panel where she's holding her head to hide the reason. :-) Thanks again for your support!

I love the expression where she's holding her head (headache? Some spell getting into her?) And it's those little things that made me your supporter. Keep up with the good work, yore having the best job ever :)

This looks wonderful <3 I recently installed Krita after reading your tutorials and advice, and I just can't get over how amazing the programme is. I'm looking forward to sewing your new pencil brushes! Do you do all of your lines digitally now?
