@Esa LOL I gave my opinion on the ending of a TV show and because you disagree with it I am a "hateful dumbass". Could you be more dramatic please?

@Tristan I have not made a single comment about the ending of Attack on Titan on here, I have no idea what you are talking about.

I know how it ends, Jasmine, you hateful dumbass...and why would I wish for the world to end when we got an ending to an all-time favorite of mine that not only made sense and was the logical one, but gives us the opportunity to think about the path taken for ourselves. The discussion around this in the community would be so wonderful if people of your kind would just disappear from it and stop ruining the mood for everyone. I know I have wasted my time to think up an answer for your bitching, but I had to speak the truth I guess...

Someone really needs to tell them about Isayama soon. In case someone can pass this on to them I'll share a little bit about some of the animators behind this episode as Ben seemed interested.
First we have Connie's sequence, which was animated by Takashi Kojima, who also solo storyboarded, directed and animated the opening (The Rumbling). He's also done quite alot of work on One Piece over the years, a real veteran in the industry.
Second we have Floch's sequence, which was animated by Q Kawa, whose style you might recognize as they animated several scenes from Mushoku Tensei.
Lastly we have Mikasa's sequence animated by Malcom Wope, where I believe this was his first work on an anime, as compared to his previous work on Valorant cinematics and such.

Sorry for the multiple comments, it's just, I love AoT and this episode so much, I have so much thoughts!
One thing I love about Shadis, is that he put his old Scout jacket on. He put it away after resigning from his Commander post, aside from the flashbacks we only saw him wearing a generic military jacket. But here, inspired by his former students, he took his old jacket out of retirement for his final fight. Both him and Magath died wearing the Wings of Freedom, just like Porco did. They died truly free, choosing the manner of their own death

About Floch dying or not, and what would be more fulfilling for his storyline, I'm on the fence too. On one end, it would be great to have him alive to see the final outcome (I love the parallel Anna drew with Yelena). I have no idea what that outcome will be, but I suspect that Eren's ultimate goal doesn't align with Floch's dream of an Eldian Empire, and I would love to see Floch's reaction at the realisation that Eren played him as well. On the other end, this could be a fitting end for Floch: for the parallel that Anna drew (again) with Shadis and Magath (I never thought of that, I love it), but also to mirror his speach to the Jaegerists: "if we don't fight, Eldia will drown in a sea of blood", now we see him drowning in a sea of blood.

About Conny's amazing fight sequence: sure, as Anna said, it shows his experience, but it's easy to forget that Conny's very skilled from the beginning. He made it into the top 10 of the 104th, and way back in the beginning of 1x04, in his assessment of the trainees Shadis praised his abilities to do quick turns with the ODM gear.
Also, I love the callbacks in this episode. First with Connie (again): in 2x04 (I think) he thanked Reiner for saving him from the titan and said something along the line of "first Annie (in Trost), now you, I'll have to repay you some day", and here he saves both of them. And then Jean: in 3x02, he nearly got killed because he hesitated and was saved only because Armin shot first, and said "next time I won't hesitate", and here he doesn't hesitate and shoots first to save Mikasa.
Finally about Mikasa: I like how in the beginning of the episode she's still trying not to kill the Jaegerists and delivers non fatal blows (unlike Hange), but it changes once Conny's in danger. Then she switches gears and goes overboard, "let's end this quickly and be as savage as I can be to put the fear of God in them".

also the color of the water was somehow misleading.. i though it may be from soldiers blood but there no reason so much blood would spread at the sea... unless its samuel and dazz blood. i think animation decide to make bloody water to seem more dramatic with all the murdering happening on screen

I believe that Eren did not started the rumbling before because Levi could have stop him at anytime as he said when eren was at the jail in the first season, that’s why the author was forced to take Levi out of scene

Woah friend, no need whatsoever for hostility. Yes they did in fact show what you specified, but the framing of it could be misconstrued as Gabi looking on in shock at what just happened. A full body shot of Gabi firing is never shown. The way the anime staff chose to interpret the sequence is still valid of course, but it was just more explicitly obvious in the anime.

They literally showed Gabi with a gun in her hand after Floch got shot. The anime made it super clear. Some of you just aren’t paying attention.

1 more episode until they are finally caught up. Why do I feel like a meteor is gonna hit the earth or something is going to come up to interrupt them finishing?
