Wildfire 2X11: Who Are You?

Okay. This was probably my least favorite episode of the show. There wasn't actually anything wrong with it, but I didn't really want to watch an entire episode about being at a ball. Lol.

Also, I'm confused. I thought that by winning that race earlier in the season, they were automatically invited to the Breeders Invitational. But maybe that was a different race?

Anyway, we're all trying to get this Jillian woman to invite our horse into the race. Dani throws a ball where she'll be in attendance, and both she and Kris vie to try to get their respective horses chosen. Kris has no idea who the woman is though, and insults her before she's introduced. That doesn't seem like a big deal though. She still agrees to come see Wildfire. However, later in the evening, Dani (who realizes that Kerry is Jillian's ex) has the group, including Jillian bust in on Kris and Kerry making out. Even though Jillian is upset by this, she still plans to come see Wildfire.

But she goes to see Ismael first, and Dani tells her about Kris having the accident on Picaro and totally frames it as Kris' fault (even though we all know that Picaro was drugged). This is makes Jillian finally cancel coming to see Wildfire. And that causes Kris to have to confess to Jean that she's been dating Kerry. Jean is concerned and upset. I don't know what this means for their relationship going forward.

Good news though, Jillian seems to be into Matt. So maybe he'll be able to get her to come take a look at Wildfire. As apparently, this is the last time he can be invited to this race, as he's too old next year.

Also, part of Dani throwing this ball, was to show everyone that it was business as usual at the Davis Ranch, even though dad's in jail. However, at the end of the evening when she raffles off one of the sculptures, she finds out that it still belongs to the museum because dad never paid for it. Then a bunch of other people start chiming in about how Ken owed them thousands of dollars too. So, it looks like it backfired. And good. I know she's under a lot of stress right now, but she really went out of her way to sabotage Kris in this episode. And I was just starting to like her!
