Sons of Anarchy 1X3: Fun Town

Jax is such a complex and interesting character. I love it, so much. It seemed like he was totally on board when the guy wanted to cut the balls off the guy who raped his daughter. However, when he decided he couldn't do it, and Clay did it instead, he was way less into it. I'm sure it didn't help that Clay had ulterior motives, but still.

So, anyway, the carnival is in town and half of the SOA are there just enjoying the vibe. They happen to run into this prominent business owner and his family. Jax gives the daughter some tickets so she can ride a ride. After a bit, SAMCRO gets the word that the guns are here, so they head out to pick them up.

However, at some point after they leave the business guy's daughter is raped. Dad comes to SAMCRO to get revenge. Especially since the police aren't really helping, Clay agrees to help him, pro bono, as long as he promises Clay that he'll take revenge on him once he has him.

It's race between the club and the police to find the guy first. After Gemma manages to trick the girl into telling the truth (she actually knows who it was, but they don't wanna say for fear of media attention), the club heads back to the carnival and grabs the guy who did it. They hold him until dad shows up. Dad has plans to cuts off his balls (which I am all for), but backs out at the last minute. He apologizes to Clay, but Clay just does it himself. He then has Jax (I think it was Jax) save the knife with dad's finger prints on it, in case they need it in the future. (He's trying to buy up Charming, and Clay is resistant to that. Again, Jax is upset about this. This is not what he thought they were doing.

In other news, Jax goes to see Wendy and tells her it's not all her fault. He holds some of the blame for what's happening too. And while I guess you could argue that, it's really her fault. At no point did Jax shoot her up while she was pregnant.

Speaking of Wendy, Gemma stops by to her just to make sure she's gonna keep her mouth shut about where she got the drugs. (She already signed a thing that said a friend smuggled them in for her). Wendy promises to, and Gemma continues to be scary as fuck.

Oh, and something's going on with Tara and a guy she's got a restraining order on.
