Wildfire 2X10: 51/49

Again I say, this show is so much better than it has any right to be.

So, we've got Kris who is afraid to get back on Wildfire after what happened at the race. And Wildfire is refusing to let anyone who isn't Kris ride him. But the vet says he needs to be ridden, so we're so of at a standstill. Eventually, they come up with the plan of running alongside Wildfire as they had over to David farm. I cannot remember why they are going there, but it doesn't really matter.

Ken has asked Dani to get Junior so they can all meet up for a family meeting of sorts. However, a huge storm knocks out the power, and the the four of them are stranded in the barn for the night.

Matt has been pressuring Dani to tell Kris the truth about Picaro being drugged, as Kris is delirious with guilt. Dani keeps assuring him that she will, but only once she finds out who is responsible. Eventually, Matt has enough, and decides since she won't name the guilty party it must be her, and he tells Kris the truth. Kris is furious. Because Dani risked both her life and health of Picaro. Dani doesn't confirm or deny the accusations, really. We know she's covering for Ken, but no one else does.

In the morning, a courier shows up at the farm, and gives Dani a certified document stated that Ken has put all of the assets into their names. Dani is worried about it, but Junior says it's probably just to keep him from getting sued, or to protect the assets from someone else. Something practical. But she's not sure. However, once she finds out that dad left Junior 51% of the assets and 49% to her, she is PISSED and finally tells the truth about Ken. She also tells Junior that Ken paid Isabelle $500,000 to go away.

Anyway, in the morning, when the storm has passed, Dani goes to the house to see her dad with his back to her. She starts to yell at him about giving Junior more, but when he turns around, we see that he's handcuffed and being arrested. He tells them it was just a business deal that went wrong, but it certainly doesn't seem that innocent.

Also, Kris gets over her fear, and she rides Wildfire back to Raintree.
