Babalities Are The Worst
Added 2024-09-22 07:13:16 +0000 UTCHeheh... Yeah, THIS kinda exploded quickly out of nowhere. ^_^ Cassie came up on a list of characters and this idea floated to the top pretty quick that we got out. Like the Agatha thing from the last update, this was one of the things where we kept adding more and more to it to help make sure it popped as much as possible. Final finishing touch was Martin formatting it as a post; the picture was always gonna be a Selfie but last minute we back-and-forthed some bratty texts she could be accompanying the picture with and Martin formatted that into an actual in-niverse post. Came out great. The texts help clarify that this is the the Kombat Kids all Babalitied in their own timeline, it doesn't have anything to do with Liu Kang's reboot universe. We wanted to go with that option just because we kinda like that timeline better. I don't mind MK1's story but I'm kinda mad they didn't commit and just have the Kombat Kids be the new protags like they were signalling they were gonna do in 10. We weighed options for who could have Babalitied all of them before Meat, by the way. Other options being...
